Job summary

LuxExperience is seeking an Import/Export Coordinator to join the Charlton-based Customs team. You will manage inbound stock imports and customer outbound orders with a focus on compliance and cost efficiency.

The role requires strong knowledge of customs regulations, incoterms and tariff classifications, with liaison to suppliers and carriers to ensure timely delivery across 170+ markets. Hybrid work is offered and a supportive, diverse team environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of international customs laws and export compliance policies.
• Understanding of AIR export documentation and procedures.
• Detailed knowledge of Harmonised Tariff System and HMRC codes.
• Strong grasp of Incoterms and duty relief procedures.
• Experience with main transport modes: air, road and sea.
• Experience with dangerous goods, ATA Carnet and CITES protocols advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate inbound stock imports and outbound orders through global DCs at optimal cost and timing.
• Liaise daily with suppliers, carriers and vendors; ensure documentation is compliant for import and re-export to 170+ markets.
• Classify goods using the Harmonised Tariff System.
• Provide clear import clearance instructions to carriers.
• Assist customer care to ensure seamless delivery of shipments.
• Process urgent non-customer shipments via carrier software and create shipping documents.
