Job summary

Linklaters, a global law firm, seeks an experienced Business Analyst for a 6‑month assignment to support a major HR Transformation programme. The role sits in the Technology & Data team, standardising HR processes across countries and moving to a centralised service model.

Based in London with a hybrid work model, you will analyse current processes, translate business requirements into deliverables, and help shape scalable, globally consistent HR services.

Qualifications

• Previous experience delivering business analysis within HR Services, HR Operations or HR Transformation programmes.
• Strong requirements gathering, process mapping and business process improvement capability.
• Experience translating business processes into system requirements, ideally relating to HR case management or workflow-driven platforms.
• Proven ability to facilitate workshops and engage effectively with senior stakeholders across multiple countries.
• Experience supporting RFP, vendor selection or technology evaluation activities.
• Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies across Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams.
• Experience using tools such as Azure DevOps, Visio, Mural and other standard BA toolsets.
• A structured, detail‑oriented approach with the ability to bring clarity to ambiguity and drive outputs through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements across the full project lifecycle.
• Facilitating workshops with stakeholders across multiple locations and functions.
• Creating process maps and identifying opportunities for standardisation and efficiency.
• Translating workshop outputs into solution‑ready requirements to support system configuration and future technology selection activities.
• Supporting testing activity, including acceptance criteria definition and UAT.
• Managing stakeholder engagement and driving alignment on key decisions and outcomes.
• Contributing to the design of scalable, globally consistent HR service processes.
