Job summary

Tearfund is seeking a People Services Manager to lead and support high-quality people operations across its global programmes. You will drive operational excellence in HR systems, recruitment, contracts, onboarding and compliance, and guide major transformation projects including a global HRIS and Payroll rollout.

You will manage a UK-based team and collaborate with HR colleagues worldwide to ensure a consistent, service-driven people experience aligned with Tearfund's Christian mission.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of HR systems and operational HR practices.
• Experience working in international contexts, preferably within INGO or humanitarian sectors.
• Proven ability to manage cross-cultural teams and complex workflows.
• A collaborative approach with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the delivery of high-quality people operations across global programmes.
• Oversee live delivery of a new global HRIS and Payroll system.
• Co-manage initiatives to align and optimise end-to-end recruitment, talent acquisition and retention practices.
• Provide management and decision-making for major transformation projects.
