Job summary

Tearfund is seeking a People Services Manager (Maternity Cover) to lead and support delivery of people operations across our global programmes from the UK. The role combines HR systems expertise with recruitment, onboarding and compliance, in a hybrid working setup at the Teddington office and remotely by agreement.

You will manage a small UK-based team and collaborate with HR colleagues worldwide to deliver a consistent, service-driven people experience during the maternity cover period of 1

Do you have a passion for people and the systems that support them? Are you looking to use your HR expertise to make a meaningful impact within a faith-based international NGO?

We are looking for a skilled and proactivePeople Services Manager to lead and support the delivery of high-quality people operations across our globalprogrammes. This is a key leadership role within our People & Culture team, focusing on operational excellence in areas such as HR systems, recruitment,contracts, onboarding, and compliance. You will provide management and decision-making for major active transformation projects, including the live delivery of a new global HRIS and Payroll system and co-manage an initiative to align and optimise our end-to-end recruitment, talent acquisition and retention practices.

About You

You’ll be an experienced HR professional with:

• Strong knowledge of HR systems and operational HR practices
• Experience working ininternational contexts, preferably within the INGO or humanitarian sectors
• Provenability to manage cross-cultural teams and complex workflows
• Acollaborative approach with excellent communication skills

Hybrid Working: This role is eligiblefor hybrid working and youwillbe required to workfromthe TeddingtonTearfund office andfromyour home by agreement with the line manager.

Contract information: This is 1 year fixed term, maternity cover contract working 31.5 hours per week. The full time salary is£51,354 per annum and the part time salary is £46,218.60 per annum.
