Job summary

Tearfund is seeking a People Services Manager (Maternity Cover) to lead and support delivery of people operations across our global programmes from the UK. The role combines HR systems expertise with recruitment, onboarding and compliance, in a hybrid working setup at the Teddington office and remotely by agreement.

You will manage a small UK-based team and collaborate with HR colleagues worldwide to deliver a consistent, service-driven people experience during the maternity cover period of 1

Qualifications

• Experience managing HR systems and operational HR practices.
• Experience in international contexts, preferably INGO or humanitarian.
• Ability to manage cross-cultural teams and complex workflows.
• Collaborative approach with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support delivery of people operations across global programmes.
• Oversee HR systems implementation and payroll project.
• Co-manage recruitment, talent acquisition and retention initiatives.
• Provide guidance to UK-based team and global HR colleagues.
