Job summary

Focus on WD is partnering with a global enterprise organisation seeking a Global Head of Workday to own the Workday product across BAU and project delivery in a London setting.

You will lead cross-functional teams covering HR, Finance, Payroll, Technology and implementation partners, driving governance and maximum value from the global Workday investment. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading enterprise-scale Workday implementations.
• Strong knowledge of the Workday HCM product suite and global deployment capabilities.
• Proven leadership across Workday teams, implementation partners and multiple delivery streams.
• Strong programme governance, risk management and delivery experience at senior level.
• Experience balancing global standards with genuine business requirements.
• Broad understanding of Workday integrations, security, data migration and the wider enterprise tech landscape.
• Experience managing global systems integrators and offshore/onshore delivery models.
• Ability to act as the senior Workday authority and drive decisions to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Own the Workday product suite across BAU operations and project delivery.
• Lead and align functional, architecture, integration, data and security teams.
• Define the Workday technology roadmap and drive improvements across the platform.
• Provide senior leadership on complex Workday design, product and architecture decisions.
• Ensure the Workday platform aligns with global standards and business priorities.
• Oversee integrations and data, ensuring a robust, scalable platform.
• Lead readiness across testing, cutover and go-live for major Workday projects.
• Lead a high-performing team of Workday specialists and delivery partners.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders across HR, Finance, Payroll and Technology.
• Manage risks, dependencies and escalations with clear ownership and accountability.
• Ensure BAU and project teams operate as one joined-up Workday function.
