Job summary

Computershare Bristol/Edinburgh hybrid role leading global SRE practice to improve reliability, resilience and performance of mission-critical platforms across the organisation.

You will partner with Engineering, Infrastructure Operations and Security to embed modern SRE practices, define SLOs and error budgets, champion automation and toil reduction, and raise incident maturity across multiple cloud environments and services. This is a senior leadership position shaping our SRE operating model.

Qualifications

• Experience building, leading, and developing Site Reliability Engineering or Production Engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of SRE principles including SLOs, SLIs, and toil reduction.
• Extensive experience driving automation initiatives with scripting and development skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of SRE principles (SLOs, error budgets, toil reduction).
• Establish observability and monitoring standards.
• Lead automation-first operations and improve incident maturity.
• Partner with engineering teams to embed reliability into the product lifecycle.
• Establish SRE governance, standards, and operating model.
