Job summary

Cambridge University Press & Assessment seeks a Head of Professional Development Operations to lead end-to-end delivery and scale of Cambridge International's PD portfolio. You will unite newly aligned teams, manage course and materials production, trainer recruitment, and customer booking support from our Cambridge headquarters.

You will translate strategy into a costed delivery plan with revenue forecasting and governance, building an integrated Operations function focused on accountability

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading complex operations or portfolios.
• Proven track record of scaling processes to improve revenue, efficiency, quality or outcomes.
• Expertise in programme/project management approaches (Agile, Scrum, Lean Change, PMO).
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts, financial performance and reporting.
• Experience with content production at scale and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual professional development planning and maintain a portfolio roadmap.
• Own end-to-end delivery against targets for reach, revenue, margin and customer success.
• Establish governance, manage risks, dependencies and escalations.
• Lead revenue forecasting, cost-efficiency planning and resource decisions.
• Prioritise initiatives across portfolio teams and regional hubs for maximum benefit.
• Utilise learner feedback and data to improve processes and portfolio performance.
• Ensure compliance with risk policies, regulations and organizational standards.
• Provide inclusive leadership and coaching to Senior PD Managers across global locations.
• Build strong internal and external relationships and act as focal point for operations issues.
