Job summary

First Quantum Minerals Ltd. is seeking a strategic Head of Data & Analytics to drive the D&A function across our global operations. You will own the data platform, lead a cross‑site team, and partner with stakeholders to deliver analytics value from Databricks, Azure Data Factory and Azure Integration Services.

You will shape data governance, security, and data management practices while aligning with Group IT priorities. Travel to sites may be required as operations expand.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related discipline.
• 10+ years in data/analytics with leadership experience.
• Experience leading production cloud data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the D&A function strategy aligned to Group IT and business priorities.
• Define architecture and standards for the Data Platform across Databricks and Azure services.
• Lead the Data Platform team and manage budgets and outsourced services.
• Ensure data governance, security and compliance across sites.
