Quantios in Fleet, UK, seeks a Data Architect to own the Quantios Insights architecture, built on Azure Databricks and Unity Catalog, uniting data across products. You will define architectural standards, lead hands-on delivery, and guide data modelling for scalable analytics and AI-enabled workflows.

You will collaborate with Data Engineers, LLMOps Engineers, Product Owners, and Portfolio Architects to shape data and AI ecosystems while ensuring governance, security, and cost-efficient data

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years in data engineering, data architecture, or platform architecture.
• At least 3 years hands-on on Azure Databricks in production.
• Experience with Unity Catalog including catalogs, schemas, isolation boundaries, grants and lineage.
• Hands-on experience implementing fine-grained access control (ABAC or equivalent) on Databricks or a similar platform.
• Strong SQL and Python, with experience using dbt in production.

Aufgaben

• Define the architectural vision, principles, and standards for Quantios’ enterprise data platform.
• Own and evolve the data architecture for Quantios Insights, including data ingestion, lakehouse design, semantic modelling, and analytical layers.
• Lead hands-on delivery: write reference implementations, review PRs, and unblock Data Engineers directly.
• Review and challenge work from engineering teams to ensure alignment between documentation and running systems.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Architects and Product Owners to align data architecture with product strategy and AI enablement.
