Job summary

Platform Housing Group seeks a Head of Data & Analytics to lead its central data platform, data architecture and analytics capability across customers, properties and corporate services. You will shape governance, data products and self-service analytics while building high-performing teams and partnering with senior leaders for strategic impact.

The role requires experience leading transformational change, strong stakeholder engagement and a proven track record in data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership across technology, applications, data, digital or AI in a complex organisation.
• Ability to interpret information, research, analyse data, judge, and manage risk.
• Experience forming solution design and explaining design to business stakeholders.
• Experience with data migration/extraction from Dynamics and the Common Data Service/DataFlex.
• Ability to work with multiple business levels to translate requirements into SDLC solutions.
• Experience using data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
• Knowledge of Microsoft products including Dynamics 365 and advanced Excel techniques.
• Track record of leading transformational change and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong commercial awareness and experience managing supplier relationships and budgets.
• Experience implementing AI, automation or advanced analytics with measurable business benefits.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with Senior leaders and operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support the Data Products and Data Engineering teams.
• Develop a high-performing data capability across data engineering, data architecture, analytics enablement, data product management and AI.
• Oversee planning, design, development, testing, implementation and support of the Data portfolio.
• Build relations across the organisation, with strategic suppliers and partners.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Lead the development and operation of Platform's central data service, using Microsoft Fabric as a trusted data foundation.
• Explain complex data and technology decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support research and assessment of AI opportunities where practical.
• Keep up to date with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Copilot, Azure AI and broader analytics trends.
• Develop and maintain data architecture patterns in collaboration with Architecture Services and Application Development.
