Job summary

Parexel is seeking an experienced and commercially-minded General Manager, Functional Service Provider (FSP) to lead a strategic client relationship in clinical research. This executive role combines operational oversight, financial accountability, and business growth across a large-scale FSP portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have deep clinical research experience, strong leadership in matrix environments, and a proven track record in client relationship management and revenue expansion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Healthcare, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent) preferred.
• Significant leadership experience (10+ years) in CROs, pharmaceutical/biotech or FSP environments.

Responsibilities

• Strategize and oversee account-level operational delivery with resource allocation and quality control.
• Drive financial performance, budgets, and margin optimization.
• Lead and develop a skilled team with performance reviews and training plans.
• Establish and monitor KPIs; drive data-driven decision-making.
• Serve as primary account contact and govern governance meetings with client and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing FSP accounts and support RFP responses.
