Job summary

Parexel is seeking an experienced Vendor Strategy Director to partner across Clinical Operations, Portfolio Innovation, and Procurement. You will define end-to-end vendor strategies for complex programs and oversee supplier performance from startup to closeout.

Leading strategic supplier partnerships, you will influence global clinical development programs, drive innovation, and ensure quality, compliance, and operational excellence across trials that aim to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in science or business, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 10+ years of relevant industry experience in clinical operations and outsourced trial activities at operational and strategic levels.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial methodology, GCP, medical terminology, and clinical development processes.
• Experience with supplier services supporting clinical development programs and a solid grasp of trial management and monitoring.
• Knowledge of quality and regulatory standards relevant to outsourced clinical research.
• Proven success developing and managing strategic internal and external partnerships.
• Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end supplier and vendor strategy activities across clinical development programs.
• Define and align program-level vendor strategies with stakeholders.
• Manage supplier performance against program objectives and priorities.
• Identify, assess, and manage supplier risks and quality concerns; drive continuous improvement.
• Translate future portfolio needs into vendor service requirements.
