Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead site operations at our London facility, ensuring client satisfaction and high service quality. You will plan, direct and coordinate activities, manage staffing, and drive cost controls in a fast-paced logistics environment.

The role requires strong UK import/export knowledge, exposure to air freight as main mode, plus ocean and road operations.

Qualifications

• Must have solid understanding of UK import/export operations and regulations.
• Proven ability to lead site operations and meet client standards.
• Strong knowledge of domestic and international regulatory compliance in logistics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage site operations to meet client service agreements.
• Drive cost controls and improve profitability through efficient operations.
• Negotiate with carriers and vendors to maximise profitability.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and ensure policy compliance.
• Train and develop staff to peak performance and growth.
• Monitor KPI adherence and ensure timely communication with clients.
