Job summary

Hertz in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Transaction Lead to own the end-to-end execution of franchise-conversion deals. You will coordinate internal teams and external advisors, shape deal structure, and safeguard regulatory and contractual compliance throughout LOI to close.

This role interfaces with Finance, Legal, and Transformation Office to align strategic objectives with operational reality.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in corporate development, M&A transaction execution, investment banking, transaction advisory, or private equity – with demonstrated ownership of deal execution from structuring through close

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day transaction execution from structuring to signing and close.
• Coordinate internal and external deal teams; maintain timelines and issues.
• Define perimeter and structure; draft franchise, asset-transfer, and related agreements.
• Ensure docs reflect deal thesis and operating model.
• Screen and onboard buyers/franchisees; manage due diligence and VDR.
• Synchronize decisions with Franchise Transformation Office and platform workstreams.
• Scope post-close services and TSA arrangements.
• Track costs, dis-synergies, and separation costs; report to Finance.
• Prepare inputs for governance forums; escalate where needed.
• Monitor TSA status and wind down service agreements.
