Job summary

Goodman Masson in Reading is supporting a fast-growing tech business expanding internationally. The Finance Manager will be hands-on, responsible for month-end close, controls, and governance while driving process improvements across multiple entities.

The role offers a daily rate of £400-£450 (inside IR35) or £77,000 when permanent, with 2-3 days per week in the office and an ASAP start with up to four weeks' notice.

Qualifications

• Qualified candidate with hands-on operational finance experience.
• Experience improving finance processes and controls.

Responsibilities

• Month-end close, journals, accruals & prepayments; balance sheet reconciliations.
• VAT, payroll and statutory finance activities.
• Treasury, cash flow and bank reconciliations.
• Supporting AP and reviewing supplier payment runs.
• Financial controls, governance and audit readiness.
• Ad hoc analysis and management information.
• Improving finance processes, systems and controls.
• Supporting multiple entities and international operations.
• Working closely with senior finance and wider business stakeholders.
