Job Advert is recruiting for a Service & Installation Engineer based in Sandy. You will cover site installations and service breakdowns across the UK and overseas, with a passport essential.

The role offers overtime opportunities, annual bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. Expected responsibilities include installation, commissioning, servicing, fault diagnosis, and on-site technical support while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience within a manufacturing, machinery, maintenance, or installation environment.
• Previous experience carrying out equipment installation, commissioning, servicing, or field service engineering activities.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Engineering apprenticeship, City & Guilds qualification, HNC/HND, or equivalent engineering background desirable.
• PLC and HMI knowledge would be advantageous but is not essential as training can be provided.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the UK and overseas as required.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional weekends and customer shutdown periods.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, service and maintain specialist processing equipment across customer sites in the UK and overseas.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults to minimise customer downtime.
• Provide professional on-site technical support and build strong customer relationships.
• Support equipment refurbishment, repairs, and workshop-based engineering activities when not travelling.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and uphold high standards of quality, safety, and professionalism.
