Job summary

Our client is a specialist manufacturer providing service and maintenance across the UK and offshore. A Field Service Engineer is needed to cover Glasgow, Dundee and surrounding areas, visiting customer sites to service and repair equipment.

Flexibility is essential with regular overnight travel including offshore stays. The role offers funded training, a company van, tools and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Qualified engineer with an electrical discipline.
• Proven experience in service, maintenance, repairs and installations.
• Good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Happy working at heights.
• Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
• Flexible approach – able to stay away from home overnight.
• IT literate.
• Hold full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to service, maintain and repair company equipment.
• Carry out installations, commissioning and fault finding on site.
• Work flexibly including offshore trips and overnight stays when required.

Job description

Our client is a specialist manufacturer of bespoke equipment. They install, service and maintain their own equipment throughout the UK and offshore. Due to continued growth and expansion, they are now recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join their team in and around Glasgow, Dundee and surrounding areas.

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for travelling to customer sites carrying out the service, maintenance and repair of the company products and equipment. This is an ideal opportunity for an engineer to join a leading global company who are willing to fund all relevant training to support you with your new career.

Please note flexibility is required, as you will be required to travel with regular overnight stays, including weeks offshore (additional payments for working offshore).

Field Service Engineer Requirements:

• You will be a qualified engineer with an electrical discipline.
• Proven experience of carrying out equipment service, maintenance, repairs, and installations.
• Good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
