Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Global Technical Lead to oversee M&E operations, maintenance, energy management, and workforce development for a facility portfolio.

You will supervise staff, coordinate daily activities, manage budgets, and drive improvements across building systems while staying current with technology trends. You will lead the exchange of information, motivate teams to achieve targets, and foster strong relationships with tenants, owners, and vendors in a dynamic, globally

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising and rewarding performance and retention.
• Ability to lead and communicate sensitive, complex information and set performance expectations.
• Leadership to motivate teams to achieve broad operational targets across multiple disciplines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Strong organizational skills and a curious, proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees, including training, performance evaluations and coaching.
• Coordinate daily team activities, set work schedules and deadlines, and mentor staff.
• Manage operations and maintenance for assigned facilities and develop operating and capital budgets.
• Suggest and implement improvements for preventive maintenance and safety procedures.
• Be the main point of contact for maintenance with contractors, tenants, and technicians.
• Oversee building systems (fire/life safety, plumbing, HVAC, electrical) and stay current with technology trends.
• Maintain communication with tenants, clients, owners, and vendors.
• Lead business development to secure new management contracts and develop as-built drawings.
• Respond to emergencies and customer concerns with effective problem solving.
• Align activities with department plans and CBRE RISE values.
