Job summary

CBRE Local UK is seeking a Technical Service Manager to oversee administration and engineering for client-occupied buildings. You will lead a team, supervise contractors, ensure safety, and drive contract performance across PPM and reactive works.

You will develop financial plans, monitor building systems, and report on critical operations to senior management, while maintaining strong client relationships and CBRE values.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship, Level 3 in Electrical/Mechanical engineering or equal.
• Proven experience in business-critical engineering systems.
• Strong people management skills.
• Team player capable of prioritising and solving problems with innovative solutions.
• Well organised with good task management skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer literate; proactive and able to work on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and ensure contractual commitments are met and exceeded.
• Ensure opportunities for strategic development of the contract are exploited.
• Maintain safe working conditions and health and safety processes.
• Staff contracts with fully competent teams and supervise engineers.
• Develop contract financial plans for revenue, profit, and cost reduction.
• Manage relationships with key client contacts and maintain client focus.
• Direct and supervise all contractors and subcontractors and ensure compliance.
• Oversee operations and maintenance of electrical and mechanical plant services.
