Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a seasoned communications professional to tell our story globally. You will support the CEO and leadership, manage external comms for corporate responsibility, and guide executive LinkedIn content and crisis communications.

You’ll work in a hybrid setup from Windsor, coordinating with regional teams and external agencies to keep the external calendar aligned and impactful.

Qualifications

• Background in in-house comms, agency or mix.
• Excellent written and spoken communication with eye for detail and judgement.
• Experience in global matrixed organisations with moving parts.
• Experience building strategy/content for senior leader LinkedIn channels.
• Experience of communicating around corporate responsibility topics.
• Creative approach to content; familiarity with Canva.

Responsibilities

• Tell the story of IHG’s strategy, purpose and ambition to the outside world.
• Support communications for our CEO, Executive Committee and PLC, including financial results and speaking engagements.
• Lead external communications for Global Corporate Responsibility and Journey to Tomorrow.
• CEO LinkedIn strategy and content, plus supporting other senior leaders.
• Be part of the press office and handle media enquiries proactively or reactively.
• Help manage global crisis communications and protect our reputation.
• Create communications plans and projects across regions; write clear briefings and coordinate with agencies.
