Job summary

Central Employment Agency (North East) Ltd. is recruiting an Export Coordinator for a Prudhoe-based manufacturing business.

You will manage export shipments from enquiry to delivery, ensuring documentation is accurate and compliance with customs and export rules. The role requires experience in exports, shipping, logistics or international trade, with strong liaison across freight forwarders, customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Experience in exports, shipping, logistics, supply chain, or international trade.
• Organised and detail-focused with a proactive approach to documentation and compliance.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders including customers, suppliers and freight forwarders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments from order receipt through to delivery.
• Prepare and manage export documentation including invoices, packing lists and certificates of origin.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, couriers, customs agents and shipping providers.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international trade legislation.
• Track shipments and provide customers with updates on delivery status.
• Obtain transport quotations and work with providers to secure cost-effective shipping.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
• Resolve shipping, customs and documentation issues efficiently.
• Maintain records using ERP systems and internal databases.
• Support continuous improvements within export and logistics processes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and logistics partners.
