Job summary

AB Agri in Rugeley, Staffordshire, is seeking an Export Shipping Coordinator to manage the full export process—from entering orders on AX to ensuring goods are shipped with complete paperwork. You will work closely with planning and production teams and liaise with hauliers throughout the process.

This hands-on role requires strong organisational skills, clear communication and the ability to travel between sites when required.

Qualifications

• Experience in export coordination or international logistics is desirable.
• Strong organisation and documentation handling skills.
• Clear, professional communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Willingness to travel between sites with a driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Process export orders and book transport and veterinary appointments.
• Prepare shipping documents and customs paperwork.
• Coordinate with hauliers, customs agents and internal teams.
• Handle health and veterinary certificates for Irish shipments.
• Monitor schedules and resolve issues to keep export flow on track.
• Utilise Excel and reporting tools to support the team.
• Communicate with customers, freight forwarders and stakeholders for updates.
• Support the export vet on scheduled days to ensure smooth operations.
