Job summary

Lancaster University is seeking a Global Experiences Officer to lead the design and delivery of credit-bearing summer schools and short-term visiting programmes. You will coordinate across campus and international partners to design opportunities and promote participation in global programmes.

The role focuses on inbound Global Summer Schools, student mobility, and ensuring high-quality delivery with strong partnership management.

• Highly organised with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Experience in international education or student mobility is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop inbound Global Summer Schools and short-term visiting programmes, liaising with academic departments to design and expand the portfolio of opportunities and coordinating marketing activity to promote the summer schools globally and increase participation in international programmes.
• Coordinate the recruitment and application process for the Global Summer Schools, supporting students from the point of application through to the delivery of the summer schools.
• Manage the delivery of the 2027 Global Summer Schools and short-term visiting programmes, working with departments and professional services to ensure the summer schools are delivered to a high standard and collecting feedback and evaluations to assess impact and develop future offerings.
• Ensure international programmes comply with relevant policies, regulations and best practices.
• Develop systems and processes to sustain strong global partnerships and high-quality student support.
• Work cohesively with the Global Experiences team to support across projects.
