Hyve Group Ltd, a global leader in B2B events, is seeking an experienced Event Director for the 121 brand. The role leads the event and its sales team, reports to the Portfolio Director, and drives growth across markets and regions.

You will partner with content, marketing, operations and customer success to deliver a best-in-class event, while managing budgets and stakeholder relationships on a global scale.

Qualifications

• Seasoned professional with multiple years proven experience in event management & project delivery.
• Solid experience in the mining, investment and/or energy transition industries.
• Confident manager of multi £m budgets & forecasts.
• Demonstrated leadership of multi-disciplined teams both on & off projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence at senior levels and deliver difficult messages constructively.
• Organised and detail oriented with excellent planning and execution.

Responsabilités

• Lead strategy, planning and delivery of the event, ensuring industry positioning and growth.
• Manage a global sales team and direct managers across regions.
• Oversee P&L and financial targets, ensuring revenue goals are met.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Director and strategy teams to refine the event's value proposition.
• Build strong relationships with brokers, government departments, trade associations, media and key accounts.
• Coach and develop a high-performing global sales team to achieve targets.
• Ensure customer experience and event delivery are thorough and high quality.
