Job summary

Monzo is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to partner with managers and People Partners, providing specialist advice on complex ER matters across the UK, EU, and beyond. You will balance employment law with practical business needs, supporting disputes and driving scalable ER practices.

The role emphasizes coaching, data-driven insights, and strengthening ER foundations across Monzo's global footprint, including training and policy improvement work.

Qualifications

• Experienced in employee relations across complex, high-risk matters.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and ER best practice.
• Experience supporting ACAS Early Conciliation and tribunal claims.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers on complex, sensitive ER matters and provide pragmatic advice.
• Adapt ER guidance to different jurisdictions, cultures and employment landscapes.
• Coach and mentor ER colleagues to build confidence and judgement.
• Support employment disputes and liaise with Legal and external counsel as needed.
• Ensure proper documentation and data quality in case management systems.
