365 People Ltd. is recruiting a Technical Sales Representative to join an established engineering manufacturer in Tamworth.

The role focuses on growing sales internationally, managing distributors, and providing technical advice on a specialist product range. You will travel internationally, develop new opportunities, deliver product demonstrations, respond to enquiries, and support marketing campaigns while collaborating with engineering, production and aftersales teams.

Qualifications

• Engineering background or degree required.
• Experience in technical sales or engineering sales.
• Ability to discuss technical products confidently.
• Strong negotiation and CRM skills.
• Experience managing distributor relationships.
• Ability to manage a full sales cycle from prospecting to closure.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities and markets.
• Support distribution partners to achieve sales growth.
• Respond to technical and commercial enquiries.
• Provide technical product advice to customers and distributors.
• Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle.
• Visit customers to follow up enquiries and develop relationships.
• Deliver product demonstrations, presentations and training.
• Attend international trade fairs and industry events.
• Maintain CRM records and sales pipeline.
• Produce sales forecasts and reports.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
• Negotiate prices and discounts.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, marketing and aftersales teams.
• Support marketing campaigns when required.
