Job summary

Personnel Selection are pleased to be working with a fantastic engineering business, seeking a Technical Sales Engineer with energy, enthusiasm and ambition to join a growing, international company. You will combine a technical foundation with a commercial instinct to win business.

Initially you will work with an experienced internal sales team, developing a detailed understanding of the company s specialist engineering products, customers and markets.

Qualifications

• Technical or engineering background required.
• Experience in technical sales or drive to start a sales career using engineering knowledge.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly and commercially.

Responsibilities

• Develop a detailed understanding of the company’s specialist engineering products, customers and markets.
• Prepare quotations, develop technical proposals, respond to tenders and support live project opportunities.
• Lead customer-facing sales, business development, account management and project activity in the UK and overseas.
