Job summary

The HALO Trust seeks a skilled Trainer to deliver Qualified Driver Trainer courses across HALO's country programmes, building in-country capacity and standardising road-safety training worldwide.

You will lead Advanced Safe Driver Training, promote before-use checks, and help embed Driver and Driving Management SOPs while reporting on training outcomes to the Global Head of Fleet and Road Safety.

Qualifications

• Recognised driver trainer/instructor qualification or substantial equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering Train the Trainer programmes and certifying trainers.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally on a rolling schedule.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Qualified Driver Trainer courses to build and certify driver trainers.
• Run rolling international schedule of Advanced Safe Driver Training courses.
• Train drivers in before-use vehicle checks and fault identification.
• Set and maintain consistent training content and assessment criteria.
• Assess driver competency and report training needs at individual and programme level.
• Help programmes develop and embed Driver and Driving Management SOPs.
• Provide input to RTC investigations where training gaps exist.
• Report training delivery, trainer certification and competency trends to Global Head of Fleet and Road Safety.
• Coordinate with Global Fleet Technical Manager on visit schedules.
