Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services in London Heathrow is seeking a Landside Driver Trainer to deliver high‑quality training and support our experienced drivers. You will assess agency and company drivers, conduct inductions and remedial training, and assist the compliance team with projects and audits.

Qualifications

• Strong O'license / Highway code / DVSA test standard knowledge.
• C+E driving experience with at least 10 years commercial driving experience.
• DCPC / Digi Tacho Card holder.
• Roller bed and Fridge trailer experience.
• Excellent Tachograph / WTD knowledge.
• Walkaround vehicle check / defect reporting knowledge.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills; can work under pressure.
• Flexible working approach; varied start/finish times; occasional night work.
• CAA, Health & Safety at work knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Establishing and maintaining standards, and completing daily vehicle checks, safe loading / securing vehicle loads, reporting of maintenance defects
• Ensuring Driver's knowledge in adhering to tachograph rules, and the working time directive
• Retraining drivers after tachograph infringements
• Leadership on accident/incident investigation and near miss reporting
• Managing newly onboarded driver development
• Ability to write, prepare and deliver Driver Assessments and induction programs
• Promoting CAA safety and regulatory requirements, security and identification
• Ability to write policies and memos regarding new and reissued processes
