Job summary

Matillion seeks a proactive Director, Solution Architecture to lead an international team across EMEA, the Middle East and Africa. You will own strategic GTM initiatives, tackle complex technical challenges, and drive revenue growth in a greenfield environment with clear career progression toward Senior Director roles.

You will mentor senior architects, join high-value customer meetings, and align pre-sales with business goals across regions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technical enterprise roles with 5+ years managing pre-sales teams.
• Proven enterprise solution selling with multi-stakeholder deals and ARR targets.
• Experience with MEDDPICC or similar value-driven frameworks.
• Cloud data platforms and relational/NoSQL databases proficiency.
• In-depth API integration, Linux, SQL and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor senior Solution Architects across EMEA, MEA to maximize revenue and customer success.
• Act as executive technical sponsor on high-value deals with the team.
• Manage team cadences, 1:1s, and development plans; track performance metrics.
• Drive GTM initiatives and expand global footprint for revenue growth 6–12 months.
• Develop partner strategies with regional ecosystems for international impact.
• Align cross-functionally with international leaders on pre-sales and business goals.
