Job summary
Matillion, the AI Data Automation company behind Maia, seeks a senior Solutions Engineer to collaborate with enterprise customers across the UK and beyond. You will diagnose technical needs, map them to business outcomes, and deliver tailored demos and POCs that prove fit.
You will align technical teams with sales, drive adoption, and identify expansion opportunities while building trusted advisor relationships. Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, SQL/NoSQL, APIs, and Python is valuable.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years with enterprise customers in technical roles such as Solution Architect or Sales Engineer.
- Strong solution-selling experience demonstrating value and handling technical objections.
- Experience selling AI or agentic AI solutions and knowledge of MEDDPPICC is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose & map technical and business pain points to measurable outcomes.
- Build and deliver tailored demos, workshops, and POCs to validate fit.
- Align engineering and sales strategies within digital sales motions.
- Drive adoption, monitor dashboards, and ensure customers achieve initial wins.
- Lead business reviews and identify expansion opportunities.
