Job summary

Humanoid in the United Kingdom is seeking a Director of Contracts & Business Support to lead commercial contracting globally. You will own end-to-end drafting, negotiation, and closure of customer, partner, and supplier agreements across all markets, reporting to the CLO.

The role builds the contracting operating model, develops templates and playbooks, and selects CLM and AI-assisted review tools. You’ll partner with GTM, supply chain, and executive teams to balance risk with commercial

Qualifications

• 10+ years PQE; solicitor in England & Wales.
• 5+ years in highly regulated or safety‑critical sectors (robotics/AI/medical devices).
• 5+ years in-house experience.
• 5+ years people management experience.
• Strong track record on supply chain contracts & technology partnerships (revenue share).
• IP and dispute resolution experience.
• Proficiency with contract management systems & AI review tools.
• Comfortable managing senior stakeholders; hands-on drafting & negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Own commercial contracting end to end across all countries.
• Partner with GTM and supply chain teams from deal shaping to signature.
• Negotiate supply chain, manufacturing, and tech partnership agreements.
• Build and own the contracting operating model: templates, playbooks, escalation paths.
• Select and implement CLM and AI‑assisted contract review tooling for a large pipeline.
• Protect and commercialise IP; advise on ownership, licensing, confidentiality.
• Manage disputes and pre‑litigation with compliance & outside counsel.
• Collaborate with compliance and CLO to reflect regulatory obligations.
• Instruct and manage outside counsel with cost/value focus.
• Develop the contracts team while staying hands-on.
• Be a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and exec.
