We are offering an opportunity for a Global Development Manager to join our Distribution Specialty Lines team on a hybrid basis.
Your role is to support RSA's Specialty Lines by developing large and complex opportunities from Strategic Brokers in the market. The focus is on the UK and London markets, with potential international support for sales activities.
You will be responsible for developing sales plans, maintaining a 3-year rolling pipeline, and coordinating tender submissions with strategic brokers. Working closely with trading underwriters and Strategic Account Managers, you will generate high-quality enquiries and support the retention of profitable business.
You will manage the pipeline and retention plans, influence the activities of the underwriting and Specialty teams, and build productive relationships with brokers. Collaboration across RSA stakeholders involved in customer propositions is essential.
You should have extensive experience in the insurance industry.
Success in this role requires deploying sales and distribution techniques, demonstrating RSA's brand values, and developing compelling presentations and proposals for brokers and clients.
