Job summary

WPP Media is seeking a Strategy Director to shape ambitious, insight-led media strategies that unlock client growth. You will lead annual planning, briefing responses, and work across Production, Creative, and Enterprise to translate strategy into activation.

Qualifications

• Significant experience developing integrated media and communications strategies in agency, consultancy or client environments.
• Strong understanding of marketing, advertising and the wider media ecosystem including budgets and measurement.
• Proven track record turning insight into strategic direction and activation across paid, owned, earned and shared channels.
• Confidence with data, analytics, technology and AI-enabled planning tools to improve client decisions.
• Strong knowledge of digital, performance and commerce and their link to growth objectives.
• Excellent judgement with attention to detail and prioritisation.

• Define the business challenge and the role of communications and media; lead annual planning and major briefs.
• Identify actionable insights guiding strategy, usage in activation and growth.
