Job summary

Vector Resourcing seeks a permanent Data Governance Lead to drive an end-to-end BAU data governance strategy as Purview is implemented across the organisation. You will advance understanding and governance maturity while aligning with regulatory requirements and enterprise analytics needs.

You will lead governance integration into projects, ensuring data quality, lineage, and protection across global datasets to support analytics and AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing Purview and data governance strategies.
• Ability to integrate governance into projects and change initiatives.
• Understanding regulatory requirements and data protection across jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Leads organisation wide governance to manage data as a trusted enterprise asset.
• Integrates governance into projects and change initiatives with controls defined early.
• Ensures quality rules and lineage are defined, maintained, and actively monitored.
• Applies pragmatic, risk based governance aligned to regulatory and policy requirements.
• Leads through influence across business and delivery teams, with or without direct line management responsibility.
• Ensures governed, classified, and protected data is fit for analytics and AI use.
• Tracks maturity, adoption, and effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.
