Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Senior Data Governance Consultant for Microsoft Purview to lead enterprise-scale governance, compliance, and security solutions. You will design Purview-based architectures, advise senior stakeholders, and oversee end-to-end delivery across data, security and regulatory domains.

You will work in a hybrid model with UK offices and client sites, supporting Capgemini’s Data Trust Capability to drive governance adoption and Industry-leading data management practices.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in architecture roles across data, security, compliance, or cloud platforms.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale Microsoft Purview solutions.
• Strong background in Microsoft 365, Azure, and data security/governance programmes.
• Experience with Purview Data Map, Data Catalog, Scanning, Lineage, and Glossary.
• Knowledge of labelling, classification, retention, and data lifecycle concepts.
• TOGAF/SABSA or equivalent enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Security clearance eligibility for UK (SC) is considered.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end Purview solutions across Data Governance, Information Protection, DLP, Insider Risk, eDiscovery, and Records Management.
• Lead workshops translating business, regulatory, and technical requirements into architectural designs.
• Define Purview deployment roadmaps, operating models, and governance frameworks.
• Oversee integration with Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Platform, and on-premises systems.
• Provide guidance on data labelling, retention, and governance workflows.
• Lead technical delivery teams and produce high-quality architecture documentation.
