Qualifications

• Expert customs compliance knowledge.
• Demonstrated business partnering, advocacy, and acumen with strong intellectual curiosity
• Development and/or management of compliance processes is a plus

Responsibilities

• Execute risk assessments of trade compliance programs to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with in-region Business Divisions, Compliance teams, and Legal teams to provide strategic and operational support for global trade management at Caterpillar
• Support the development, implementation and maintenance of customs trade compliance policies and procedures
• Provide training on government laws, rules and regulations as they pertain to organizational products, services and technologies
• Proactively monitor, manage and mitigate risks through stakeholder engagement and assist with development and implementation of compliance strategies and goals in line with company's business objectives
• Effectively communicate insights, progress, and recommendations across the organization as needed
