Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade or related field.
• Demonstrable experience in customs, trade compliance or international logistics.
• Practical knowledge of UK/EU customs procedures.
• Experience managing third-party customs agents.
• AEO status and customs duty relief knowledge.
• Experience with post-Brexit UK/EU trade arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on customs regulations and international trade requirements, supporting import/export decisions.
• Manage relationships with external customs agents/brokers, ensuring compliance and cost effectiveness.
• Monitor and control customs-related expenditure with stakeholders.
• Ensure all import/export procedures are followed and comply with regulations.
• Collaborate with Logistics and Customer Services to fulfil export orders accurately and on time.
• Work with Procurement and Supply Planning to ensure import requirements are understood.
