Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment in Exeter is seeking a Customer Services Administrator (Manufacturing) to support retailers with orders and inquiries. The role involves handling inbound calls, processing orders from multiple channels, and issuing invoices and pro-forma documents.

You will work closely with warehouse and distribution teams to ensure timely delivery, while calculating discounts and carriage costs as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service with a technical/ manufacturing context.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Answering inbound calls from retailers regarding orders and general enquiries.
• Processing customer orders received via fax, telephone or email.
• Issuing customers with pro-forma invoices, order acknowledgements, and general administration.
• Liaising with the Warehouse and distribution companies to ensure timely and accurate distribution of products.
• Calculate customer discounts and carriage costs in relation to customer orders.
