Job summary

Astrantia Talent is recruiting a Customer Service Coordinator for an established plastics distribution company in Oxfordshire, UK. The role covers order processing, logistics and customer support across a global supply chain.

You will manage the complete order-to-delivery and order-to-cash process, collaborate with Sales, Logistics, Transport, Finance and Supply Chain teams, and handle documentation and inquiries in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, sales administration, order processing or supply chain coordination.
• Experience managing customer orders in a B2B environment.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple orders, deadlines and priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or Sage.
• Knowledge of international logistics, freight forwarding and import/export processes.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage customer and supplier orders from order entry through to delivery and invoicing.
• Coordinate the complete order-to-delivery process, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfilment.
• Monitor stock availability, inventory levels and product allocation.
• Track order status, delivery schedules and shipment progress.
• Liaise with Sales, Logistics, Supply Chain and international subsidiaries to coordinate orders.
• Maintain accurate order records in ERP/order management systems.
• Identify delays and proactively communicate updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments and prepare shipping documentation.
• Handle import/export docs (Bills of Lading, Letters of Credit).
• Support compliance with internal procedures and trade requirements.
• Act as primary contact for customer inquiries; provide updates on orders and deliveries.
• Assist with credit insurance administration and payment follow-ups when required.
• Maintain relationships with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
