Monzo is seeking a senior leader to own the Group Chief Operating Officer strategy, spanning UK Ops, EU Ops and Controls. You will align goals, partner with Finance on budgeting and forecasting, and drive a global operating model designed for scale and local relevance.

You will deliver key strategic projects, communicate progress to the CEO and leadership teams, and ensure governance across a matrixed organization with strong cross-functional accountability.

Qualifications

• Senior strategic level experience in fintech or complex operational environments.
• Proven ability to turn strategy into executable projects and track progress.
• Strong communication skills with clear executive storytelling for diverse audiences.
• Experience navigating global versus local operational structures and trade-offs.

• Define and own the Group COO strategy covering UK Ops, EU Ops and Controls.
• Lead goal setting, budgeting insights, and monthly forecasting with Finance.
