Job summary

Monzo is seeking a Data Director for EU expansion to lead the Data team and shape product strategy as the company grows across Europe.

You will sit on the EU Tech Leadership team, work with the EU CEO, Country Managers and the VP of Product, and partner with Finance to set ambitious, measurable goals.

This role is London or Barcelona based with distributed UK working; you’ll own learning loops, metrics, pricing levers, and the data foundations that enable fast market learning.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data teams at director level or above.
• Proven ability to define high-clarity metrics and align with Finance.
• Experience scaling data function in a new market, product line or business.

Responsibilities

• Lead the EU expansion data team and shape product strategy.
• Own measurement loops, define metrics, and set targets.
