Job summary

CIPD, the professional body for HR and people development, is seeking a Financial Controller to lead financial control across the organisation and its international entities. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will manage a team of eight, strengthen controls, and steer system improvements including Netsuite and Salesforce.

You will oversee statutory reporting, audits, treasury and balance sheet integrity, while partnering with the FP&A lead and cross-functional colleagues to drive lasting

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA or CIMA accreditation.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge in a complex organisation.
• Experience leading teams and developing people.
• Experience across multiple entities or international operations is valuable.
• Proven ability to improve processes and controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial controls, statutory reporting and audit, treasury and cash management.
• Ensure integrity of balance sheet and ledgers across the organisation.
• Lead a team of eight and foster ownership and higher standards within Finance.
• Collaborate with Head of FP&A and other functions to explain financials and drive decisions.
• Drive system improvements, including Netsuite and Salesforce implementations.
