Job summary

Dentons is a global law firm renowned for its bold approach to delivering innovative solutions to clients. As a Conflicts Analyst, you will support the business by assessing new client and matter requests from a conflict, sanctions and AML perspective, using Dentons' databases and third-party resources, with cross-border coordination across Europe and globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification; related field an advantage but not required.
• At least one year of conflict of interest and compliance experience in an international law firm.
• Fluency in English (C1+) essential.
• Strong research, analytical, and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and an organised approach to workload and administration.
• Openness to learning, intellectual curiosity, and a flexible, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Review new client intake requests for completeness and accuracy.
• Conduct conflicts checks using Dentons' internal and external databases.
• Investigate corporate structures and management profiles for conflicts/AML analysis.
• Identify and elevate potential conflicts per firm policies.
• Coordinate with Dentons offices across Europe and globally for clearances.
• Assist in onboarding new clients and ongoing monitoring.
• Review engagement letters and confidentiality terms where applicable.
• Maintain accurate records per firm policies.
• Be a liaison within Europe and Global Regions on intake matters.
• Ensure submissions align with regional/global policies.
