Job summary

Dentons in the United Kingdom is seeking a Conflicts Analyst to review intake requests, perform conflicts checks, and investigate structures for sanctions and AML. You will coordinate with Dentons offices across Europe and globally to obtain relevant clearances and complete onboarding and ongoing monitoring for non-AML mandates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline; related field is an advantage but not required.
• At least one year of experience in conflict of interest, risk, and compliance reviews in an international law firm.
• Familiarity with IntappOpen is preferred.
• Fluent English (C1 or higher) is essential.
• Strong research, analytical and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review intake requests for completeness and accuracy of client and matter information.
• Conduct internal and external conflicts checks using conflicts databases.
• Investigate corporate structures and management profiles for conflict, sanctions, and AML analysis.
• Identify and elevate conflicts under firm policies (legal, commercial, sanctions, reputational).
• Coordinate with Dentons offices in Europe and globally for clearances.
• Complete onboarding and ongoing monitoring refreshes for non-AML mandates.
• Assist with engagement letters, outside counsel guidelines, and confidentiality terms.
• Maintain accurate records and manage data per firm policies.
• Implement information barriers and document security processes.
• Coordinate with team members to meet deadlines and resolve challenges.
• Serve as a contact for Europe and Global Regions regarding new business intake.
• Coordinate with Europe New Business Intake sub-teams for assessment.
• Ensure submissions are reviewed and processed per regional/global policies.
• Support application of regional frameworks and requirements.
