Job summary

Markem-Imaje Industries Limited in Nottingham is seeking a Compliance Engineer to join the global hardware safety and product compliance team. You will drive regulatory activities for Europe, USA, and Canada, ensuring products meet safety, EMC, and radio standards throughout their lifecycle.

The role requires collaboration with R&D, external labs, and cross-functional teams to plan tests, update certifications, and maintain compliance.

Qualifications

• BSc in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of safety, EMC, radio certifications.
• Familiar with CE, NRTL, FCC, IC regulations.
• Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product compliance with regulatory requirements in Europe, USA, and Canada.
• Lead pre-compliance tests and coordinate with R&D and third-party labs.
• Maintain ongoing certifications across product lifecycles.
• Engage with external labs and partners; manage certification updates.
• Stay up-to-date with relevant standards and directives.
