EML Payments is seeking an experienced compliance leader to head our global assurance and testing function from Ireland, overseeing regulatory domains across UK, EU, APAC and US. Build testing frameworks, translate regulation into practical methodology, and influence senior stakeholders.

You will lead the strategy for testing, manage a small team, and partner with Internal Audit and Risk to ensure comprehensive coverage while driving automation and efficiency in assurance processes.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading assurance reviews, issue validation and compliant testing programmes across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks across the EU, UK, APAC and US, with ability to apply principles globally.
• Hands-on experience with compliance testing technologies and assurance platforms; strong project management skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead EML’s global compliance assurance programme, setting strategy, methodology and testing frameworks.
• Plan and deliver risk-based testing across business units and regions, including regulatory changes.
• Provide independent assessment of control effectiveness and drive consistent testing standards worldwide.
• Lead root cause analysis on findings and produce executive/board reporting on results and trends.
• Champion testing automation and technology to enhance efficiency in assurance processes.
• Lead, coach and develop a small team in methodology, test scripts and best practice.
• Partner with Internal Audit and Risk to ensure full coverage without duplication.
• Support regulatory examinations from evidence gathering to lessons learned embedding.
