  • Provide independent assessment of control effectiveness and drive consistent testing standards across global operations
  • Lead root cause analysis on findings and produce executive and board-level reporting on results, trends and assurance metrics
  • Champion testing automation and technology to make assurance smarter and more efficient
  • Lead, coach and develop a small team, building their capability in methodology, test scripts and best practice
  • Partner with all three lines of defence, including Internal Audit and Risk, to ensure full coverage without duplication
  • Support regulatory examinations across jurisdictions, from evidence preparation to embedding lessons learned
What you will bring
  • Significant experience leading assurance reviews, issue validation and compliance testing programmes across multiple jurisdictions
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks across the EU, UK, APAC and US, and the ability to apply common principles across them
  • Experience in global, matrixed organisations, ideally in payments or fintech
  • Hands-on experience with compliance testing technologies, automation tools and assurance platforms, plus strong project management skills
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with senior leaders across business and risk
  • Experience managing and coaching a small team to deliver high-quality work on time
  • ICA or other relevant professional certifications are a plus

  • Private medical insurance fully covered by EML, including 24/7 GP phone and video access, specialist consultations, diagnostics and treatment
  • An Employee Assistance Programme with up to 6 confidential counselling sessions a year
  • A workplace pension scheme with company contributions 5% and employee minimum 3%, salary sacrifice scheme also available
