Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Commissioning Engineer (Industrial Automation) to join a growing business based in Taunton. You will commission, install, troubleshoot and service converting machinery across a global customer base, with full training and clear progression paths.

You'll work with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs, actuating drives and HMIs, and provide customer training on safe operation.

Qualifications

• Fully time‑served Electrical Engineer.
• Strong experience with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Commission, install, and service converting machinery at customer sites worldwide.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and hands‑on fixes across electrical and control systems.
• Train customers on the safe and efficient use of machinery.
